Daily Painting - Feb 6, 2026

This painting was kind of a stubborn one to be honest. The first few layers were tests in my patience and belief in the phrase "Trust the process." When I get to a point where my original idea, if there even was one, just isn't working out, that is usually when I default to just trying new ideas or random techniques to see what might work and what doesn't. Sometimes that process of just trying things and not working twowards a preconceived idea about what the painting should look like yields something better than I had anticipated. So when in doubt, work it out, but don't overwork it.
