Daily Painting - Feb 12, 2026

This was another painting that was inspired by a recent other daily. I had put some turqoise paint over some cadmium yellow and then scraped it away after it had dried a bit and I just really enjoyed how it looked and wanted to explore it further. It was a bit unnerving doing all this work underneath to then cover it all up with the green, but I knew it would work out in the end. Once again, I love exploring the idea and concepts of erosion to reveal hidden layers and explore more complex compositions.
